Sea Garden is a marine regeneration solution comprising site-specific interventions tailored to the conditions of each location. The measures and components are designed to support clearly defined ecological objectives and are subject to ongoing monitoring to evaluate their development over time.

The SER® systems implemented in each Sea Garden are integrated into a site-specific marine regeneration plan, combining technologies developed by UGI with the scientific and technical expertise of the consortium and the project team.

The regeneration provided by the Sea Garden incorporates different techniques in soft (sandy soils) and hard (rocky soils) substrates in an integrated way. They, at the same time, are based on a new generation of intelligent substrates, the Smart Enhanced Reefs SER®, which differ from other artificial reefs in that they adapt to local circumstances and are integrated into their ecological functions.
